How do I deal with information? — A non-tech Zeitgeist background

Due to various circumstances, it has been way too long without a blog post about the hackfest I was lucky enough to be able to attend, thanks to Seif and the super nice people at the GNOME Foundation who sponsored me. There were some super talented people there, and I got to see first hand the skills of these guys.

During the hackfest I wrote up the start of an overview of what Zeitgeist and related software will do for the user, from a non technical point of view. That document is still a work in progress, but I decided to post the first part.

Thought I’d start uploading my non-people photos to Flickr, and figured I’d use the blog plugin as well. If you see this, I succeeded. I’m not any good at photography, I basicly just aim and click, but since I do that very often, sometimes I get results that I like.

Update to sources.list for 9.04

Matteo Croce updated his mp4tools PPA for 9.04. Not all packages are in yet, I think, but you can still use packages for 8.10 as far as I know.

Head on over to my sources.list page to get my updated list. Note: Be extremely careful with the ubuntu-x-swat repo as it can potentially be highly unstable.
