My Ubuntu HARDY 64 bit sources.list

Last updates:
June 13th 2008 — Massive update!
August 6th 2008 — Slight update
August 29th 2008 — Medium update

As noted, I took the plunge yesterday. So here is my initial sources.list for Hardy. Some repos are indicated with Gutsy, but that is in there by design, as it works for both Gutsy and Hardy.

As you might guess, some repos are not for Hardy yet, but I’ll try to improve on the list. Subscribe to the comments RSS feed, and I’ll post a comment when it’s updated. (I check the repos on a semi daily basis, so the notification will likely be pretty quick.)

Here it is.

And here is the list (relevant parts only) ready to be picked up by search engines. NOTE: This is not updated often, the above link will be automatically updated daily (provided my laptop is on and connected at 15:00).

  8. Elisa Media Center already in regular repositories,
    and
    FreeNX
    Elisa
Some stuff from a Gnome developer
don’t seem to work, i can get the GPG for FreeNX and the other two it can not find the packages

    Comment by Bob — July 30, 2008 @ 0:19

  9. Hi Bob, thanks for your feedback!

FreeNX repo have packages, see: http://www.datakeylive.com/ubuntu/pool/main/
Not sure if that’s what you meant.

I don’t use stuff from a Gnome developer either, that’s why it’s commented out. It used to have some interesting stuff, that’s why it’s there

Elisa is rolling out version 0.5.4 soon, it will maybe be in their repos, but getting it in backports might take more time, if it ever hits. However, Elisa repos have not been working for a while, so I haven’t been using them.

Actually, I’m not. It’s in the linked sources.list, and has been for about 2 weeks 🙂
I just rarely update the text on this page, but I reput the actual sources.list every day at 1800 🙂

    Thanks for tip anyway!
